Jólaundirbúningur aðeins farinn að setja svip sinn á skólastarfið en fastir liðir þó á sínum stað. Í tónlistarstund byrjuðu nemendur að æfa nokkur jólalög með Teresu og Zbiegnew og Bleiki hópur fór að vanda í íþróttahúsið á fimmtudag.
Nemendur í Bleika og Gula hóp stimpluðu flottar köngulær sem prýða gluggana hjá okkur þar til þær víkja fyrir jólaseríunum.
Við hengdum upp Evrópukort og fengum myndir og ferðasögu frá þremur nemendum og skoðuðum löndin og m.a. leiðina sem þau fóru í “stóru flugvélinni” og sögðu frá ýmsu á myndunum sem öllum fannst mjög áhugavert og skemmtilegt.
Á miðvikudag í næstu viku verður hin hefðbundna kertagerð hjá nemendum á báðum deildum og á föstudaginn sameinumst við nemendum grunnskólans við jólatréð við Kirkjuhvol þar sem ljósin verða tendruð kl. 10.
Að lokum vil ég minna þá foreldra sem vilja að við berum á börn þeirra kuldakrem að koma með slíkt í leikskólann og hafa í hólfunum þeirra.

Christmas preperations are starting in the kindergarten, in tónlistarstund they are starting to practise Christmas songs with Teresa and Zbiegnew. On Thursday Pink group went to the sportscenter. Students of Pink and Yellow group made fun looking spiders by stamping them and they can be seen in our windows until we put up the Christmas lights.
We put a map of Europe up on our wall and got pictures and travel stories from three students and had them tell us about the trip and pictures. Everyone was really interested and that was a really fun conversation for all.
On Wednesday next week the students will be making candles here in the kindergarten and on Friday we are going to attend the lightning of the big Christmas Tree near Kirkjuhvoll and the students from the School are also attending.
I want to remind parents to bring cold cream if you want us to apply to your child and keep it in the clothes box.
